Connections Team Building & Training facilitates dynamic and interactive workshops that allow teams to integrate company culture and individual's styles to create outrageous cohesive teams that provide measurable results.
What if people had their needs written all over them? This program consists of individual DiSC personality assessments for each participant and a certified trainer to facilitate a half or a full day of activities and informational sessions. All team members will get a very clear understanding of their own personality style, their strengths and areas of potential problems in terms of working in a team with other personalities. Teams will practice communication and interaction to create trust and understanding within the team. The overall culture of the team will be reviewed. The team will be clear on the areas of strength and how to capitalize on them. They will begin to improve blind spots or weaker areas in the team on a while. Your work team will walk away with an arsenal of tools and resources that will prepare them to start enjoying their work and have amazing improvement in all their co-worker interactions.
The Work of Leaders
Crafting a Vision, Building Alignment, & Championing Execution are the steps to effective and inspiring leadership. The purpose of this workshop is to take people from doing the job of managing things and activities to being inspiring leaders of people. This workshop is facilitated by a certified DiSC trainer and Leadership expert. The coach of this program has been an active leader of work teams, community groups, and association boards. Participants will be given a full DiSC profile that includes a 40 page report of their personality style as well where they currently fall on the continuum of leadership traits. The workshop will have concrete activities to allow leaders to go through the 3 steps to effective leadership. They will see where their strengths lie and where they have weaknesses. They will also gain practical solutions and skills to shore up the behaviors or traits that they lack to effectively take the steps of Vision, Alignment, & Execution.
Everything DiSC Management is an in-depth, customizable training program that teaches managers how to bring out the best in each employee. They learn how to read employee styles and adapt their own styles to manage more effectively, The 26-page personalized report helps managers understand how to work more effectively in the areas of delegating and directing, motivating, developing others and working with their own manager. The certified facilitator will provide activities, training, tools and resources, and practical applications for improved management outcomes;

The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team
This program is an assessment-based learning experience that helps individuals and organizations reveal what it takes to build a truly cohesive and effective team in the most approachable, competent, and effective way possible. Powered by Everything DiSC®, the profiles help participants understand their own DiSC® styles. Bringing together everyone’s personalities and preferences to form a cohesive, productive team takes work, but the payoff can be huge—for individuals, the team, and the organization. The program helps teams understand how, as a team, they score on the key components of The Five Behaviors model: trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results. Each individual on the team will also understand their own personality style and their team members styles, based on the DiSC® model and how their style contributes to the team’s overall success.
Who is it for? The program is designed exclusively for intact teams and work groups. The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team harnesses the power of Everything DiSC and the clarity and simplicity of The Five Dysfunctions of a Team model.
How does it work? The Five Behaviors Model is used to help team members learn to work together more efficiently and effectively and become a more cohesive team. A productive, high-functioning team: Makes better, faster decisions, Taps into the skills and opinions of all members, Avoids wasting time and energy on politics, confusion, and destructive conflict, Avoids wasting time talking about the wrong issues and revisiting the same topics over and over again because of a lack of buy-in, Creates a competitive advantage, and Is more fun to be on!
The program includes:
- A trained and certified Facilitator providing content and activities in 7 modules
- Presentation with over 40 minutes of video and engaging and interactive activities that will create solutions and clear cut custom strategies for the future function of the team
- Participant handouts
- Take-away cards for each of The Five Behaviors
- Podcasts and online resources for future group work
- A comprehensive, highly personalized, and accessible 36-page illustrated report that allows each person on the team, and the team as a whole, to understand how they scored on the assessment and how to interpret their individual and team results. The profile includes an introduction, a section devoted to each of the five behaviors, a summary of the team’s strengths and challenges, tips and suggestions, and a roadmap to help teams create an action plan based on their results
- This program is roughly 25 hours of fully facilitated programming that can be completed in a consecutive 3 day retreat or broken up into modules of 2-3 hours over 8-12 weeks
Who are you and who have you been perfectly designed to be. This in depth program takes an individual through a set of assessments and a 365 profile. Then a certified expert and coach will walk you through all the information to create a plan that allows you to use your perfect design at its highest and best as well as a plan to “shore up” the weaknesses and the ability to see and appreciate the differences. Everyone should be able to be authentic and open and to express themselves fully with confidence, we want you to have the tools to do that.
